International early learning and child well-being study (IELS) in England: Introduction to the research

International early learning and child well-being study (IELS) is a study of children’s cognitive and social-emotional development at age 5. The study is being carried out by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in 2018 for the first time. The research report includes information about England’s participation in the study.
